Italian Pavilion in VITAFOODS EUROPE

Palexpo in Geneva, 10-12 May 2022

Today VITAFOODS EUROPE exhibition opens at the Palexpo in Geneva. ICE-ITA takes part in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Integratori & Salute, the national Association representing the food supplements sector, with a group of 8 companies in the Italian Pavilion (stand G170).

Vitafoods represents the main international event of the supplements sector in Europe. The event takes place every year, as an international scenario for the supplements sector and related technologies. Last edition in 2021 attracted a total of 25.000 online and in person visitors from over 120 countries with the participation of more than 1.000 brands. The event takes place for 3 days with seminars and workshops on the most receptive markets for this sector.

To promote the Italian presence at Vitafoods, there is a brochure of the ICE-ITA/Integratori & Salute collective (printed and electronic), which will be distributed to visitors to the pavilion. The brochure has been sent by direct e-mail to Swiss specialized professionals with an invitation to visit the stand. To obtain the main visibility of the stand, the visitor follows on his journey in the expo a targeted advertising on 24 screens around. To increase the opportunities for interaction between Italian companies and international buyers, our exhibitors will be able to use the exclusive online platform dedicated to B2B on the Vitafoods website, where an advertising banner has also been provided to highlight the presence of the Italian Pavilion.

The food supplements sector has shown, in recent years, a growing and widespread attention on a global level in response to specific and increasingly evolved needs for health and well-being as well as for the prevention of disease risk factors. In this scenario, the Italian market, first in Europe, has developed, reaching a turnover of almost € 4 billion in 2021, with an increase in value of 8.6% compared to the previous 12 months. As evidence of the liveliness of the sector, also following the Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdown, the nutraceutical products sector has not experienced a significant decline in demand.
