Eviosys increases investments to grow and support the dynamic canned food industry.

Eviosys is announcing further investments in one of their sites in France, Concarneau (Brittany-West France). Eviosys, which supplies major consumer brands with printed cans and easy open ends is modernising the site by investing in new manufacturing and printing equipment.

Eviosys Concarneau has been prominent in the Brittanyindustrial landscape since 1924. The company, which employs nearly 200 people, manufactures round and rectangular metal cans, and easy-open ends which are varnished and printed locally.

The convenience and sustainability of canned food products is increasingly popular with consumers. Latest figures showed a growth of +3.7% in volume and +4.8% in value between 2019 and 2021 (Source Kantar)

To support this growth, Eviosys Concarneau has made a number of major industrial investments over the past two years, bringing a significant competitive edge to the plant. This includes a new printing line, new easy-open ends manufacturing lines, automation, automatic camera control and modernization of workspaces for employees. These investments will continue to improve the plant’s performance and customer satisfaction.
