ZERO WASTE PACKAGING PIONEER MILK & MORE BOLSTERS RANGE WITH GOOD CLUB PARTNERSHIP

Milk & More is bolstering its range of zero waste packaging grocery lines, with the launch of ‘Good Club at Milk & More’, an innovative retail partnership with Good Club, which provides groceries to consumers in reusable boxes and pots.

The company, which is one of the country’s leading online grocery and milk doorstep delivery services, already makes more than one million deliveries every week.

The move isGood Club’s first retail linkup, and further expands Milk & More’s already extensive zero waste packaging offering.  Customers can currently enjoy milk, juice, dairy alternatives, household and personal care items, all in reusable glass bottles, with over 100 million one-pint glass bottles delivered by the company each year, which is the equivalent of 1,630 tonnes of plastic.

The ‘Good Club at Milk & More’ range comprises ten predominantly breakfast focused lines, including tea, coffee, sugar and cereals. There is also pasta and rice, and glass jars for storage, which join the extensive range of products delivered to doorsteps by 7am.

“As champions of zero waste packaging, we are delighted to be partnering with Good Club”, says Patrick Müller, Chief Executive Officer for Milk & More: “As a business, we have been offering zero waste packaging for decades, long before anyone else, and we know that it is one of the many reasons that our customers choose us.”

‘Good Club at Milk & More’ marks a significant step forward for Milk & More’s doorstep deliveries. Withno minimum order quantity and no subscription or membership fees, delivery is free too, and shoppers can order up until 9pm the night before their normal delivery day.  Customers decant and return their empty Good Club pots with their milk bottles, to be washed and reused.  This is a complete zero waste packaging solution – there is no supply chain waste, and stock is delivered in repurposed crates.

Patrick Müller continues: “The quest for reduction in single use packaging waste and resource depletion continues to drive the refillable movement. At Milk & More, we’re committed to making the process as convenient and hassle free as possible, one pint, or pot at time! We continue exploring new ways to grow our sustainable chilled and ambient zero waste packaging offering with our supplier partners and look forward to working with the Good Club team on this exciting new venture.”

According to Good Club, sales via its website have grown by 30% so far this year, with the range of products available increasing from 50-350 lines in the last 12 months, in response to customer demand.

Ben Patten, Co-Founder and CEO of Good Club says: ” “It’s a privilege to be working with Milk & More, a pioneer in removing waste through reusable packaging. Their commitment to the cause and willingness to work with others to develop solutions is a guiding light. We’re looking forward to providing all their customers with great products in our reusable packaging and being in a position to make reusable food packaging a solution for any brand or retailer”.

‘Good Club at Milk & More’ deliveries will commence from 20 June across the Milk & More service area and is available for customers to view and order online at milkandmore.co.uk.
