Hugo Beck brings sustainable packaging solutions to Scanpack 2022
Visitors to Scanpack 2022 can discover sustainable film and paper packaging solutions by visiting horizontal packaging machine specialist Hugo Beck on stand B06:06
With sustainability now central to all industries, attendees will be able to learn how Hugo Beck’s packaging solutions can help meet their environmental objectives. They can also discover a wide range of packaging machinery for flowpacks, bags and shrink packs across both primary and secondary packaging.
Hugo Beck’s machine solution for paper packaging, paper X, will be on display on the stand. Visitors can see a live demo showing the wrapping of diverse products using the recyclable barrier paper barricote® LINER MGO supplied by Mitsubishi HiTec Paper. As an alternative, the company’s flowpack X machine is also suitable for heat and cold-sealable paper-based packaging materials, achieving optimal processing of the most diverse materials including barrier paper, kraft paper, offset paper, parchment paper and other papers with PE, PLA or dispersion coatings.
Furthermore, visitors can find out more about the latest film and paper packaging machines designed to meet today’s e-commerce, mail order and logistics sustainability requirements. These include Hugo Beck’s paper e-com fit packaging machine, which automatically adjusts the shipping bag size to varying product dimensions to minimize paper consumption. Usually, uncoated papers are used to produce the new type of dispatch packaging, with two sewn sides.
The servo X e-com fit provides the ideal solution for applications where film is required or preferred, processing a diverse range of material types such as recyclable mono-material films and recycled content films. The servo X e-com fit packs goods with minimum use of film and automatically adjusts the film bags with four sealed sides to the product’s length and width.
Innovative machine concepts demonstrate how effective packaging solutions can deliver sustainability benefits. Visitors to the stand will be able to see how the company’s established reputation for the flexibility and efficiency of its machines can be utilised in the adoption of new pack types and materials that help to meet increasingly important sustainability demands. Experts from the company including Mr. Per Lagerblad from Hugo Beck Nordic will be on hand to discuss specific customer requirements.
