Meyer Seals has launched its ALKOzell™ mono with brand owner Nestlé for its NESCAFÉ brand

As a part of its sustainability goals, Nestlé has decided to move away from using the non-recyclable paperboard backed reseal liner (substrate) to a fully recyclable and compatible with the Polypropylene closure – Extruded Polypropylene backed reseal liner. Switching to mono-material liner eliminates the need for Post-consumer waste segregation of the caps and closures. This liner has been further tested and approved to 100% recyclable with Interseroh zero waste solutions.

ALKOzell™ mono, Meyer Seals® has developed a fully recyclable secondary reseal liner that utilises a polymer in either Polyethylene (PE) or Polypropylene (PP), which is 100% compatible with the material used to manufacture the closure. This initiative negates the need for post-consumer waste segregation.
