Business Expansion and New Manpower at Goerner Group

Goerner Group, an Austrian family owned and driven enterprise represents 100 years of experience in the packaging market. Goerner Packaging (focused on folding boxes made of recycled board), Goerner Formpack (runs pulp moulded items made of recycled or other sustainable fibers) and Goerner Bionics (Think Tank about innovative packaging goods having nature as role model) are the three branches.

In 2020 a joint venture with Rhondo Ganahl, specialist in corrugated card board, was established, Faserwell GmbH.

At Goerner Group 200 employees are developing and producing customized solutions for the packaging industry. Always having in mind: sustainability, being environmental friendly and taking care about resources. At all aspects of the added value chain.

The business unit food packaging recently invested in a new production hall. All in all, Goerner Group have invested 10 million Euros in infrastructure and new technologies, during the past two years in Austria and Eastern Europe.

Goerner Group got Manfred P. Girschik MBA on board. The experienced Sales & Marketing Manager with strong strategical and operational skills will support the whole Goerner team. The common targets are to continue to grow at a reasonable rate, to develop a sales structure fitting to the future development, by recognizing Goerner’s strategy about sustainability.
