As part of its ambitious calendar for more sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging, Airopack, known for its VOC free air-operated dispenser, is launching world’s first air-powered dispenser made of recycled PET. Globally renowned outdoor brand The North Face, supported by Dutch sustainable lifestyle brand DFNS, is the launching customer using Airopack’s latest innovation

“The global need for reducing the CO2 footprint is accelerating and an increasing number of brand owners are seeking for alternative dispensing solutions. Our new rPET Airopack is our next step towards a full recyclable dispenser. More sustainable without compromising in performance and quality”, says Roland Jonkhoff, Airopack’s CEO. “Moving towards a circular model is fundamental to us. We are therefore thrilled to have The North Face and DFNS supporting us in this exciting next step”, says Roland.

A Versatile and proper Alternative for environmentally conscious Brands
The rPET Airopack offers the same features and benefits as the standard Airopack: it uses pure air instead of (chemical) propellants, is fully transparent, can be used for a wide variety of applications and delivers a consistent dispense flow from start to finish with a 98% evacuation rate. And with its container made of 100%  post consumer recycled PET, the rPET Airopack offers brand owners a further solution towards for more sustainable packaging.

Revolutionary and Worldwide Patented Technology
The unique Green-Tag certified Airopack technology offers a full transparent plastic pressurized dispenser, powered by pure air that is both more effective and more sustainable. rPET, short for Recycled PET Plastic, gives new life to post-consumer plastic waste. This helps reduce the production of virgin plastics, resulting in a major contribution to a more sustainable future.
