Bormioli Pharma awarded by Chiesi Group “Best Supplier for People and Planet” 2021
The award highlights the role of Bormioli Pharma as a strategic partner of the pharmaceutical company in the creation of sustainable production models.
Bormioli Pharma has been awarded “Best Supplier for People and Planet” 2021 by Chiesi Group, during Vendor Day 2021, organized in recent days by the pharmaceutical company at its headquarters in Parma.
Bormioli Pharma and Chiesi Group have been collaborating for some time on the theme of sustainable innovation in pharmaceutical packaging, with a spirit oriented towards mutual learning, the evolution towards full sustainability of the sector and the maximization of the positive impact on the territory.
Chiesi is the largest international pharmaceutical group with B Corp certification, an award given to companies that meet high standards in terms of social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal responsibility, in a balance between profit and common goals. This gives the award given to Bormioli Pharma particular relevance and represents a concrete result of the path taken by the packaging company towards sustainable business strategies.
The award was presented during Vendor Day, a day dedicated to highlighting the projects that Chiesi Group carries out with suppliers who share the company’s principles.
