ALLTUB GROUP IS PROUD TO PRESENT “THE GREEN TUBE” MADE OF 95% PCR ALUMINIUM

The Green Tube, made by Alltub Italia and available at all Alltub plants, has recently won the ETMA (European Tube Manufacturers Association) Tube of the Year 2020 competition.  

Aluminium tubes were already 100% recyclable : but now we are a step further ahead with the green tube made of 95% PCR aluminium.

PCR means Post Consumer Recycled – waste recovered from the end user after serving its intended use. Alltub’s PCR aluminium tubes are specially designed for a circular economy. Producing aluminium tubes from post-consumer recycled aluminium closes the loop making the tubes both recycled and recyclable. With significant lower CO2 emissions, their production respects the environment.

Lightweight & resistant, the PCR aluminium tube has all the advantages of a classic aluminium tube. The use of PCR in no way detracts from the tube’s positive properties and outstanding performance: it retains all the benefits associated with product protection and meets all other consumer requirements and expectations perfectly, regardless of the product in question. This is because the caps, coatings and combinations of different printing options that are used for virgin aluminium tubes can also be used for the Green Tube.
